Summary[]
The Nephilim evolves from the energy gathered from Hibiki's arm, but Hibiki enters her beserk state again, regenerating her arm in the process, and rips out the Nephilim's heart before completely annihilating it. As Hibiki undergoes recovery, she recalls her past, in which she was unfairly treated like a murderer by her old classmates. Meanwhile, Tsubasa learns from Genjuro that Hibiki has a strange mineral coursing through her body that may very well take her life one day. Keeping this a secret from the others, Tsubasa tells Hibiki that she shouldn't use her Symphogear again, using the beserk state as an excuse. Elsewhere, as Nastassja's illness starts to develop, Shirabe and Kiriki search for Ver, who find's the Nephilim's heart and attacks near the school, prompting Hibiki to go into action.

Trivia[]
- On a monitor, it is shown that the present year is 2012.
- This is also the year shown on a monitor in the next episode.
- This contrasts S1E1 and G episode 8, which showed the year as 20XX in a newspaper and on a monitor respectively; S1E3, which showed the year as 2011 on a video watched by Miku and Hibiki; S1E4, which showed the year as 2011 on a video taken and uploaded by Miku, and G episode 11 and XV episode 3, which showed a year as 2013 on some monitors. In addition, this is inconsistent with later seasons such as XV, which gives the present year as 2045 in episode 2 and episode 5.
