Relics
Short Summary
In this episode, Hibiki Tachibana has attained the power of Symphogear! However, it's her first time using it, and she doesn't really know what to do. Tsubasa Kazanari, a more experienced Symphogear user, must swoop in and save her, defeating the Noise herself. However, this isn't the end of Hibiki's ordeal: now she must accompany Tsubasa to the headquarters of the Mobile Disaster Relief Corps., 2nd Division, which happens to be located at Lydian Academy, their school. She doesn't return until after curfew, causing her roommate, Miku, to worry.
During Hibiki's next visit to the 2nd Division HQ, she learns that she is one of the candidates for the Symphogear, a special person whose voice can activate a Relic, like Gungnir or Ame no Habakiri. The Relic in turn activates the Symphogear and allows the user to fight, protected from the normally deadly effects of touching the Noise. When a Noise alert sounds, Hibiki decides to go with Tsubasa to help her defeat it. However, Tsubasa does not want her around: Hibiki's use of the Gungnir Relic has stirred up painful memories of Kanade. What will happen when Tsubasa, fed up with Hibiki's cluelessness, challenges her to a fight?
